The LAA invites you to view Miel para Oshun, a Cuban film that is sure to make you laugh. This humorous drama from award-winning filmmaker Humberto Solas tells the story of Roberto, an eccentric cab driver who decides to take an adventurous and exiting road trip through the island of Cuba while searching for the mother who presumably abandoned him. Detours, near-death experiences and strange characters all highlight Roberto's trip while he begins to see life from a fresh and funny perspective. Spanish with English subtitles. Atlanta’s largest Hispanic Heritage Month outdoor celebration, Fiesta Georgia will take place Sunday, September 7th, 2008 at Stone Mountain Park. Over 15,000 people are expected to attend the first of what will become Atlanta's annual Hispanic Heritage Month celebration. Fiesta Georgia will be a day long celebration of Latino culture, music, and food. Featuring continuous live performances by national and local artists, vendor booths offering free product samples, arts and crafts, and authentic Latino foods.
